Mother's Day!

My first official Mother's Day flowers!!!

My wonderful husband surprised me yesterday and had them delivered to the house. I think he was just as excited to be able to give me Mother's Day flowers as I was to receive them.

I am so grateful for all the amazing women in my life who are mothers. First, my mom, who has always loved me, supported me, cried with me, and treated me like I was the best daughter in the whole world. Second, my Mother-in-law, who sets a great example of loving for me. She is so accepting and nurturing and a great friend to have. Plus, she raised an amazing son whom I happen to love very much.

Third, I'm grateful to all of my friends who have set a great example of motherhood for me to try to learn from. If I can be half as good with my children as all my friends are with theirs, then I know I'll make a great mom. Thank you all for being my teachers and my friends.
