I just got back from dropping Michael off at the airport. He's going to Taiwan, Singapore, and Shanghai. The pregnancy hormones must be kicking in because I sobbed! I'm kind of chuckling about it now, but I really miss him already! 2-1/2 weeks is going to be a long time!
Some good news though - I had my third blood test yesterday and my HCG level was 4265! That's doubling about every 1.5 days. Everything is still looking really good. I have my first ultrasound on Friday. I'm sad that Michael can't be there, but Christina has volunteered to come with me and keep me sane (and hopefully explain to me what I'm looking at). I'll be sure to post the pictures as soon as I can!
We shared our news with Michael's family yesterday at an early Mother's Day dinner. I'm so glad that everyone knows now! I'm a horrible secret keeper, and this news is just too darn good to keep to ourselves. Everyone is very happy and excited, of course!

We just got back from our vacation and we heard the great news!! I was sitting here crying over your thoughts and the happiness you must feel that you are going to be a mother! The hormones never change. From now on in you will be an emotional wreck. I can cry on a dime whenever I look at Nina. Its all about unconditional love way beyond your love for Michael. So get used to the crying:) Chuck and I are here if you need anything while Michael is gone and after. Don't hesitate to call us. My cell is 617.901.3101.
