Happy Graduation Jack! My little brother graduted from high school this weekend... and he was valedictorian! I'm so proud of him! It was great to see the family. Grandma Vody, Grandma Marge and Aunt Kathy were there... unfortunately, Michael and Debbie couldn't make it - we missed you guys!
It will be strange to have Jack away at college next year. We're going to have to start coordinating our visits home so I can make sure I get to see him.
Shelli, Karen - it was so strange to be back at a Kamiakin graduation! I could totally picture us sitting there ready to get our own diplomas... it wasn't really that long ago was it? Then, when the choir starting singing "scarlet and gold", I was teary eyed. We had such great memories! Mom and Dad were on the all-night party committee so I was able to go hang out there for a little while also. I don't remember much from our all-nighter. I must have been really struggling to stay awake! It made me miss you guys!

Toni, I must say you look stunning in these photos. Maybe it's the "glow"! (not that you aren't beautiful anyway :))
Congrats Jack! No surprise to hear about his being valedictorian. Very cool.
Sorry I missed you. Our phone wasn't working properly all weekend, and we could not check messages! I didn't get yours until you were gone!
I thought you looked great too Toni! Very happy! It was fun to see the family together! And I was surprised that Jack was Valedictorian. I had no idea that he was such a smarty. Where's he going to school? What does he want to do for a career? How did his speech go? What did he talk about? I can't believe he's all grown up. People seem to perpetually stay the age they were when I last saw them. Sister Wright is still 33 to me. I remember celebrating her birthday. It's so strange to be the same age as her now.
You girls are making me blush!
It is strange to watch Jack grow up. He's going to Montana Tech in Butte next year. I have to admit I was disappointed at first that he wasn't coming to MIT... but he fits at Tech... it will be good for him.
