Yesterday, I made Michael take me to CVS, where I purchased 4 home pregnancy tests (hpt). My intention is to test everyday up until my official blood test on Thursday. I've played this game so many times in the past... should I test early or wait? This time I decided, what the hell - I'm going to test, and I'm going to test often.
I took the first test this morning at 9dp3dt (remember your lesson from the last post) and I saw the faintest hint of a second pink line. This is the first time I have seen anything close to a 2nd line. Trust me - I have held these things up to bright lights, under magnifying glasses, taken them outside to the sunlight... and I have never seen anything like this.
Now, I have done years of research on hpt's - and everything I have read says that ANY line, no matter how light it is... is a positive result. It was enough to make my PIO shot a little more bearable this morning. For today - I am a little less cautiously optimistic.

The power of a faint pink line.
